The girl received awards for success in learning French and had excellent grades in almost all subjects. She later received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hunter College in New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, it was science that became the center of her life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esther Lederberg got a position as a research assistant at the Carnegie Institution of Washington. From then, the world of genetics and microbiology captivated her. Esther spent all her days in scientific laboratories, where her colleagues were mostly men. For her numerous successes, Evelyn Berezin was awarded the most honorable awards and entered into a number of Halls of Fame. In 2015, she became an honorary member of the Computer History Museum in California. Thus, her name is inseparable from the field of computer technology.
